Zao /ˈzeɪ.oʊ/ is a metalcore band from Parkersburg, West Virginia. Founded in 1993, Zao has hosted several musicians and endured numerous roster changes to the point where no original members remain. Former drummer Jesse Smith, singer Daniel Weydant, and guitarists Scott Mellinger & Russ Cogdell are seen by most fans as the "core" of Zao.

Your Demise were a British hardcore punk band from St Albans, England, formed in 2003. They shared stages and toured worldwide with the likes of Comeback Kid, Enter Shikari, Parkway Drive, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon. On 22 September 2008, the band confirmed that they had signed a deal with Visible Noise. The band played their final gig at The London Underworld on 15 March 2014, after announcing in 2013 that they would be parting ways in March. A New Farewell was announced on 30 April to mark ten years of the band and there will be a re-release of The Blood Stays on the Blade on vinyl with unreleased B-Sides, as well as a UK tour with founding member George Noble on vocals.

Wovenwar is an American heavy metal band from San Diego, California, formed in 2013. They released their self-titled debut album on August 5, 2014. The band's musical style on the album has been described as hard rock, alternative metal, melodic metalcore and modern heavy metal.

The Word Alive is an American metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Formed in 2008, the band is signed to Fearless Records. Their 2009 label debut, Empire reached No. 15 on the Top Heatseekers, meeting a great amount of positive acclaim upon its release in 2009. The following year, the group recorded and released their debut full-length album, Deceiver on August 31, 2010, which reached No. 97 on the Billboard 200 and 15 on Independent Albums.

Woe, Is Me was an American metalcore band from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 2009, the group was signed to Rise Records and its subsidiary, Velocity Records.

Within the Ruins is an American Deathcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts. They are currently signed to E1 Music and Good Fight Music. The group has released four albums and three EPs.

While She Sleeps are a British metalcore band from Sheffield, England. Formed in 2006, the group consists of vocalist Lawrence Taylor, guitarists Sean Long and Mat Welsh, bassist Aaran McKenzie and drummer Adam Savage. They are currently signed to Search and Destroy Records in the UK, The End Records in the US and Shock Records in Australia. They have released one mini-album, The North Stands for Nothing, in 2010, and two studio albums, This Is the Six and Brainwashed, on 13 August 2012 and 23 March 2015 respectively. They received the Best British Newcomer award at the Kerrang! Awards 2012.

An American metalcore band from Troy, Michigan, formed in 2005. The band has gone through one name change and multiple lineup changes, and signed to SharpTone Records in 2016.

We Butter the Bread with Butter is a German deathcore band from Lübben, noted for their heavy use of electronic music characteristics. The group was founded in 2007 by Marcel Neumann, was signed to Redfield Records and have released two albums through the label. Their debut album Das Monster aus dem Schrank was released on November 21, 2008. Their second album, Der Tag an dem die Welt unterging was released May 14, 2010, followed on December 19, 2012 by an EP titled Projekt Herz. Their third studio album, Goldkinder, was released on August 9, 2013, and a fourth album, Wieder geil!, was released on May 22, 2015. We Butter the Bread with Butter originally started as a duo, but has since become a quartet.

An American Christian metalcore band formed during the summer of 2002 in Erie, Pennsylvania. The band's self-titled debut album War of Ages was released in July 2005 on Strike First Records and in February 2006.

War from a Harlots Mouth is a German metalcore band from Berlin, formed in 2005. Consisting of vocalist Nico Webers, guitarists Simon Hawemann and Daniel Oberländer, bassist Filip Hantusch, and drummer Paule Seidel, the band is noted for a distinct musical style consisting of infusing many different genres into their songs, such as math metal, death metal, and jazz.

Vision of Disorder is an American hardcore punk/metalcore band from Long Island that released three albums before disbanding in 2002. The band garnered attention for blending melody and groove into a traditional hardcore framework, but its attempts to pursue a nu metal direction on its third album met with limited commercial success. Upon This Dawning are an Italian band from Brescia, founded in 2006. They have released one EP and three studio albums, with their latest album We Are All Sinners released in April 2014.

Upon a Burning Body is an American deathcore band from San Antonio, Texas, formed in 2005. The band currently consists of vocalist Danny Leal, guitarist Ruben Alvarez and bassist Rey Martinez. Their second studio album, Red. White. Green., debuted at No. 105 on the Billboard 200 in 2012. Their third and latest album, The World Is My Enemy Now, was released on 12 August 2014. The band is currently signed to Sumerian Records.

Unearth is an American metalcore band from Winthrop, Massachusetts. Formed in 1998, the group has released six studio albums.

Underoath (stylized as Underøath or UnderOath) is an American Christian post-hardcore band from Tampa, Florida. Founded by Dallas Taylor and Luke Morton on November 30, 1997, in Ocala, Florida, subsequently its additional members were from Tampa, Florida.

Twelve Gauge Valentine is a Southern post-hardcore band from Bastrop and Monroe, Louisiana, with their debut album Shock Value released on October 3, 2006. The band was initially supported by the Sound Vs. Silence label, with whom they released their debut EP, Exclamationaire. They have toured with bands, such as Haste the Day, From Autumn to Ashes, It Dies Today, Alesana, War of Ages, Demise of Eros, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Inhale Exhale, Anam Cara, Vanna, Once Nothing, Gwen Stacy, Society's Finest, The Handshake Murders, and Memphis May Fire.

Trivium are an American heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2000. After getting signed to Roadrunner Records in 2004, the band has released seven studio albums and nineteen singles. Their latest album, Silence in the Snow, was released on October 2, 2015. The band has sold over one million albums worldwide.

When touring the UK with Killswitch Engage, guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz required emergency surgery on his back. While in the hospital, he wrote new material which he later recorded and demoed at home

Throwdown is an American straight edge metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in 1997. They have toured as part of Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground, Hellfest, and Warped Tour, and with bands such as In Flames, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Korn and Cavalera Conspiracy. The songs "Forever" and "Burn" have been staples on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball and Revolver Magazine called them part of "The Future of Metal" after hearing the album Vendetta. Initially branded a hardcore band, their most recent albums Venom and Tears and Deathless have taken a sharp direction towards metal, with critics likening the band's sound to that of Pantera, Sepultura, and Crowbar.

Threat Signal is a Canadian metal band from the city of Hamilton. However, different members of the band are from other parts of the Ontario province. Since the band's formation in the summer of 2003, Threat Signal has released three studio albums and have toured with bands such as Soilwork, Children of Bodom, Protest The Hero, All That Remains, Epica, and Darkest Hour.

This or the Apocalypse is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania which formed in 2005.

Textures is a Dutch metalcore band, formed in 2001. Textures' lineup revolves around founding members Jochem Jacobs, Stef Broks, Bart Hennephof, and bassist Remko Tielemans who joined in 2007. Since 2010, vocalist Daniël de Jongh and keyboardist Uri Dijk have been with the band.

Texas in July was an American metalcore band from Ephrata, Pennsylvania, formed in 2007. They released an EP, Salt of the Earth, and their debut full-length album, I Am, through CI Records. After signing with Equal Vision Records, they released three more studio albums: One Reality on April 26, 2011; a self-titled album on October 9, 2012; and finally Bloodwork on September 16, 2014.

Terror is a five-piece American Hardcore band with members from Los Angeles, California and Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2002. They have released six studio albums and a number of other recordings. On January 3, 2015 the band announced on their social network pages that they had begun recording their sixth album, The 25th Hour.

An American metalcore band from Grayslake, Illinois. The band was formed in 2011 and consists of vocalist Tyler Dennen, guitarist Eugene Kamlyuk, bassist Derek Bolman, and drummer Chris George. They were signed to Razor & Tie from May 2013 to the summer of 2016.

Stray from the Path is an American hardcore punk band formed in 2001 in Long Island, New York. They have released seven full-length albums total. First three records independently released entitled People Over Profit in 2002, Audio Prozac in 2003, Our Oceania in 2004. Stray From The Path signed with Sumerian Records and released five records with them entitled Villains in 2008, Make Your Own History in 2009, Rising Sun in 2011, Anonymous in 2013, and Subliminal Criminals in 2015. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records. They have been seen on tour with bands such as: Architects, Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Terror, Norma Jean, Underoath, The Ghost Inside, For Today, Stick to Your Guns, Bleeding Through, Comeback Kid, and Counterparts. They were also featured on the All Stars Tour in 2012 and 2013.

Stick to Your Guns is an American hardcore punk band from Orange County, California. Members of the band include Jesse Barnett (vocals), Andrew Rose (bass), George Schmitz (drums), Chris Rawson and Josh James (guitars). They are currently signed with Sumerian Records.

Starkweather is a metalcore band from Philadelphia, United States that formed in 1989. Starkweather helped pioneer the hardcore punk/heavy metal crossover sound that would later be known as "metalcore". They have influenced many of today's top selling hardcore/metal bands.

The Sorrow is an Austrian extreme metal band from Vorarlberg. They were formed in 2005 by Mathias Schlegl and Andreas Mäser from the band Disconnected and Dominik Immler and Tobias Schädler from the band Distance. In 2006, they signed a recording contract with Drakkar Records, and in 2007 released their debut album Blessings from a Blackened Sky.

Sonic Syndicate is a modern metal band from Falkenberg, Sweden. They are influenced by Swedish melodic death metal bands such as In Flames and Soilwork and American metalcore bands like Killswitch Engage and All That Remains.

Society's Finest is a metalcore band from Dallas, Texas. Their first full-length album, The Journey...So Far, was released on Solid State Records, in May 2000. Due to member changes and personal matters the band took a break from touring and recording to focus on their personal lives. During the time on hiatus, Vocalist Josh Ashworth toured with the Christian Metal band, Zao. When reforming in 2004 the band joined Hand of Hope Records. With this label, the released, Love, Murder, and a Three Letter Word, in mid-2004. It contained new songs, along with old songs from their debut EP, Private Conflicts and Suicides on pluto Records. Their third album, And I, the Drunkard was released in June 2006. Vocalist Josh Ashworth is the only remaining original member. Past members have gone on to join bands such as As I Lay Dying, Demon Hunter, The Famine, and many others. They have shared stages with P.O.D., Zao, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Stretch Arm Strong, Hatebreed, and Stavesacre.

Slapshock is a Filipino heavy metal band. They were formed in 1997, originally as a rap metal act, with their early musical style being compared to Korn. They have since shifted towards a metalcore style.

Sky Eats Airplane was an electronicore band, formed in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2005. The band was signed to indie label Equal Vision Records and most recently released their self-titled full-length album through the label in July 2008. In March 2012, the official Sky Eats Airplane Facebook fan page indicated that there would be new SEA music sometime that year, although in November it was revealed that the band appears to be in an indefinite hiatus.

Sirens and Sailors is an American metalcore band from Rochester, New York, that was formed in 2005. They have released two EPs and two LPs; their most recent is entitled Rising Moon - Setting Sun, which was released on August 7, 2015 via Artery Recordings. The band was formerly represented by Tragic Hero Records during 2012 as reported by Alternative Press. Sirens and Sailors have shared the stage with numerous national acts including Hundredth, Stray From the Path, My Ticket Home, The Crimson Armada, and Ice Nine Kills. Sirens and Sailors is currently managed by Cory Hajde of The Artery Foundation. The band signed to Artery Recordings and Razor & Tie on June 4, 2013. Sirens and Sailors is often depicted as Sirens & Sailors, S&S, or simply, SandS.

Shai Hulud is an American metalcore band. Originally formed in Pompano Beach, Florida, the band later moved to Poughkeepsie, New York. The band is named after the giant sandworms in Frank Herbert's novel Dune.

Shadows Fall is an American heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. Although the band has experienced several line-up changes, for most of its recording career, Shadows Fall has been composed of Brian Fair (vocals), Jonathan Donais (lead guitar), Matt Bachand (rhythm guitar), Paul Romanko (bass), and Jason Bittner (drums).

Secrets (stylized as SECRETS) is an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California, formed in 2010. After being signed to Rise Records in 2011, Secrets released their debut full-length album, The Ascent, in January 2012. The record debuted at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and became the first Velocity Records release to appear on the Billboard Top 200, debuting at #185.

Rorschach is a New Jersey-based band that existed from 1989 to 1993 and reformed in 2009. The group often blended hardcore punk and dissonant elements of metal providing the inspiration to a number of hardcore and post hardcore bands thereafter.

Rise to Remain were a London based heavy metal band, formed in 2006. The band made appearances at Download Festival, Sonisphere Festival and extensively toured the UK and Europe. The band released three EPs, the majority of which were "viral" releases, via their MySpace. On 16 March 2011 they signed their first major recording contract with EMI records, which was accompanied by the launch of their website and a free single download entitled "The Serpent". Their debut album, City of Vultures, was released on 5 September 2011, nearly a year after they had started work on recording the album. It was produced by revered metal producer Colin Richardson and Carl Bown.

Ringworm is an American metalcore band formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1989. The name "Ringworm" was derived from a Vincent Price movie. The band has toured extensively in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe and has released their last four albums on Victory Records. In 2013, the band announced they had signed with Relapse Records and that a new LP would be released through them. Vocalist Human Furnace currently plays in the Cleveland metal band Gluttons, and solo project HOLYGHOST.

A British metalcore band, originating from Blackpool in Lancashire, formed in 2008. They released their self-titled EP in 2009, which was followed by their debut studio album This Is Annihilation the following year on November 30.

Raunchy is a metal band from Denmark, formed in 1994. They have released six studio albums, and are currently signed to Massacre Records.

Protest the Hero is a Canadian progressive metal band from Whitby, Ontario. Originally named Happy Go Lucky, the band changed their name to Protest the Hero shortly before releasing their debut EP, Search for the Truth, in 2002. In 2005, the band released their first full-length album Kezia on the indie label Underground Operations.

Poison the Well is an experimental hardcore band from Miami, Florida who were last signed to Ferret Music. In 2010, they announced a hiatus to explore other interests. Guitarist Ryan Primack and drummer Chris Hornbrook were the only remaining founding members, although vocalist Jeffrey Moreira featured on all five of their full-length albums.

The Plot in You is an American metalcore band, formed in 2010 in Hancock County, Ohio. Originally a side project of former Before Their Eyes member Landon Tewers, the group is composed of Tewers, guitarist Josh Childress and bassist Ethan Yoder. They have released one EP, three studio albums, and four music videos. Their EP Wife Beater was released in 2010, followed by their full-length debut First Born in 2011, and another full-length studio album Could You Watch Your Children Burn in 2013. On July 17, 2015, The Plot in You announced their signing with Stay Sick Recordings & a new album, "Happiness in Self Destruction", which was released October 16th 2015.

Parkway Drive is an Australian metalcore band from Byron Bay, New South Wales, formed in 2003. As of 2015, Parkway Drive has released five full-length albums (Killing with a Smile, Horizons, Deep Blue, Atlas and Ire), one EP, two DVDs, a split album and one book, Ten Years of Parkway Drive. The band's latest four albums have reached the top 10 of the Australian ARIA Charts, with Ire reaching number 1 in October 2015.

Overcast was an American metalcore band that started in the early 1990s, but broke up in 1998 after an unsuccessful tour; in 2006 they reunited to play the 2006 installment of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, and announced that they would release a new album entitled Reborn to Kill Again with 11 re-recorded classic tracks and two unreleased tracks. In 2011, ex-Overcast band-mates: Mike D'Antonio, Pete Cortese and Brian Fair announced the formation of their new side-project; "Death Ray Vision".

Oh, Sleeper is an American Christian metalcore band from Fort Worth, Texas. Previously signed to Solid State Records they are currently operating independently. To date they have recorded three full-length albums and two EPs.

Of Mice & Men is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California. The group was founded by Austin Carlile and Jaxin Hall in mid-2009 after Carlile's departure from Attack Attack!. The name of the band is derived from John Steinbeck's novel of the same title.

Oceans Ate Alaska are a British metalcore band from Birmingham, England, formed in 2011.

Northlane are an Australian metalcore band from Sydney, formed in 2009. The band comprises guitarists Jon Deiley and Josh Smith, bassist Alex Milovic, drummer Nic Pettersen and vocalist Marcus Bridge, who replaced founding vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes in late 2014. Northlane have released three studio albums: Discoveries (11 November 2011); Singularity (22 March 2013), which reached No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart; and Node (24 July 2015), a number one album. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015 the group won the Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album category.

Norma Jean is an American metalcore band from Douglasville, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Since their inception in 1997 and replacement of members throughout the years, the band's only original member is guitarist Chris Day. To date, Norma Jean has released six studio albums and received a Grammy Award nomination in 2006 for Best Recording Package for their second album O God, the Aftermath. The band's name is derived from the real name of actress Marilyn Monroe.

Motionless in White (sometimes abbreviated MIW) is an American metal band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Chris "Motionless" Cerulli (lead vocals), Ricky "Horror" Olson (rhythm guitar), Devin "Ghost" Sola (bass), Ryan Sitkowski (lead guitar), Josh Balz (keyboards and second vocals) and Vinny Mauro (drums). The band has stated that their band name derived from the Eighteen Visions song "Motionless and White". The group is known for their screaming vocals as well as clean.

More Than a Thousand is a Portuguese metalcore band that was started in 2001 by Vasco Ramos, Filipe Oliveira and Sérgio Sousa. In 2005 they moved to London in attempt to win a larger audience and lived there for 4 years but now again reside in their hometown of Setúbal, Portugal. The band has released three full length albums: Volume II: The Hollow (2006), Volume IV: Make Friends and Enemies (2010) and Volume V: Lost at Home (2014). The band sings in English. They are currently signed to Good Fight Records and eOne music.

Miss May I is an American melodic metalcore band from Troy, Ohio. Formed in 2007, they signed to Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, Apologies Are for the Weak through the label while the members were still attending high school. The album reached 76 on the Billboard 200, No. 29 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, and No. 66 on Top Independent Albums. The band has also had some of their material featured in big name productions; the song "Forgive and Forget" is featured on the Saw VI Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and their song "Apologies Are for the Weak" is included in the video game Saints Row: The Third.

Misery Signals is an American-Canadian metalcore band formed in Wisconsin in 2002. The sound of their music is defined by bright melodies backed up by odd time signatures, chugging riffs, and breakdowns.

Make Me Famous were a Ukrainian metalcore band. They were founded by lead guitarist and co-vocalist Denis Shaforostov, who gained popularity through his YouTube channel "above92". They have released one studio album, titled It's Now or Never.

Living Sacrifice is a Christian death metal band that formed in September 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. The band has released eight studio albums, out of which the first three were recorded under R.E.X. Records with their original vocalist Darren Johnson as a more thrash metal and death metal oriented band. The band evolved into a groove metal/metalcore style beginning with Reborn (1997) under Solid State Records with the original guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh on vocals. In 2003, the group split up, due to other projects and later their label, Solid State, released their best-of album, In Memoriam (2005). In 2008, Living Sacrifice reformed and released a two-song digital only single called Death Machine. They then began working on The Infinite Order which was released on January 26, 2010. Lance Garvin and Bruce Fitzhugh are the two remaining original members.

Like Moths to Flames is an American metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio. The band has released three full-length albums, a 7", and one extended play through Rise Records.

Lay It on the Line is a British melodic hardcore band from London. They were formed in 2012 by Phinius Gage member Mike Scott, his brother Matt and Dave Smith, who was originally guitarist in Not Katies. They wrote their demo in a single evening and recorded it in a single day. Championed by Radio 1 DJ Mike Davies before they had played a show, the band have so far gone on to release four EPs. Their current line-up features Duncan (formerly of Hang the Bastard).

Lamb of God (sometimes abbreviated as LoG) is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994 (as Burn the Priest), the group consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler. The band is considered a significant member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement.

Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999 after the disbanding of Overcast and Aftershock. Killswitch Engage's current lineup consists of vocalist Jesse Leach, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, bassist Mike D'Antonio, and drummer Justin Foley. The band has released six studio albums and one DVD. Their upcoming seventh album, Incarnate, is tentatively scheduled for release in March 2016.

Jamie's Elsewhere was an American post-hardcore band formed in Sacramento, California in 2005. They were signed to Victory Records before deciding not to renew their contract with the label, and had released three full-length albums, Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints in 2010, They Said a Storm Was Coming in 2012 and Rebel-Revive in 2014.

Iwrestledabearonce is an American metalcore band formed in 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana, but later based in Los Angeles, CA. They have released one EP, four full-length albums, and two remixed releases. They have toured with acts such as August Burns Red, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dance Gavin Dance, The Human Abstract, Blessthefall, Fact, Sea of Treachery, Enter Shikari, Winds of Plague, All Shall Perish, Vanna, Chelsea Grin and Horse the Band. Iwrestledabearonce are primarily known for their musically diverse sudden dynamic changes, often shifting genres, along with the vocalist's ability to use a combination of clean vocals and death growls.

It Prevails was a five-piece melodic hardcore band from Portland, Oregon, USA, formed in 2004. The band is influenced by 1990s melodic metalcore and classic rock, including Shai Hulud, Twelve Tribes, Strongarm, Lifetime and Hot Water Music. A premium was placed on lyrics related to struggles of the human condition and altruistic actions.

It Dies Today (sometimes abbreviated "IDT") is an American metalcore band that formed in Buffalo, New York during September 2001. The band achieved popular success in 2004 with the release of their debut album, The Caitiff Choir. After frontman Nicholas Brooks departed in 2006, just after the release of the band's sophomore effort Sirens, It Dies Today released Lividity in 2009 before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2010. However, with Brooks' return in 2012, the band have re-formed and have begun recording new material again.

Issues is an American metalcore band formed in Atlanta, Georgia signed to Rise Records. The band currently consists of clean vocalist Tyler Carter, unclean vocalist Michael Bohn, bassist Skyler Acord, guitarist A.J. Rebollo, percussionist Josh Manuel, and keyboardist Tyler Acord. Following Bohn and Carter's departure from their former band Woe, Is Me, they formed the band and recorded their debut EP, Black Diamonds, which was released on November 13, 2012 by Greg Long. After touring with bands such as Of Mice & Men, Beartooth, and Sleeping With Sirens, the band released the single "Hooligans" and began recording their self-titled debut album throughout 2013. In 2014, the band released their album Issues on February 18, 2014, and peaking at number 9 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 22,000 copies within its first week.

The group originally formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1988, but founding member Dwid relocated to Belgium in 2003. Their lyrical themes include religion, the supernatural, mental illness, individualism, and the occult.

In This Moment is an American metal band from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In late 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Pascual Romero, who in turn was quickly replaced by Jesse Landry. Landry was replaced by Kyle Konkiel in 2009 and Konkiel was replaced by Travis Johnson in 2010. Jeff Fabb and Blake Bunzel left the band in 2011, and were replaced by Tom Hane and Randy Weitzel respectively.

In Hearts Wake is an Australian metalcore band from Byron Bay, formed in 2006, currently consisting of Jake Taylor (unclean vocals), Kyle Erich (clean vocals, bass guitar), Ben Nairne, (rhythm guitar) and Eaven Dall (lead guitar). They have released two EPs, Into the Storm and The Gateway, and three full-length studio albums, Divination, Earthwalker and Skydancer, as well as a split CD with The Bride.

In Fear and Faith is an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2006, the group was signed to Rise Records and released three studio albums and two EPs. Their debut full-length, Your World on Fire, being released nearly a year after the band's signing to Rise in 2008, peaked at No. 193 on the Billboard 200. Their second full-length album, Imperial was released the following year and sold even better, charting at No. 4 on the Top Heatseekers chart in the US alone.

Ice Nine Kills is an American post-hardcore band from Boston, Massachusetts who are signed to Fearless Records. Formed in its earliest incarnation in 2006 by high school friends Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz, the group originally pursued a style combining pop punk, emo, post-hardcore and ska into their own innovative blend of rock but have since shifted into more of an experimental metalcore hybrid. Charnas is currently the only remaining founding member.

I, the Breather was an American metalcore band from Baltimore, Maryland. Formed by Shawn Spann, Justin Huffman and Morgan Wright in late 2009, the group was signed to Sumerian Records and had released three albums through the label before breaking up in 2015.

I See Stars is an American electronicore band that formed in 2006 from Warren, Michigan. Their first album, 3D peaked at No. 176 on the Billboard 200. Their second album, The End of the World Party, was released on February 22, 2011. The band's third studio album, Digital Renegade, was released on March 13, 2012. Digital Renegade demonstrates a stylistic change, featuring a more aggressive musical style than their prior albums. The band also appeared on a track called "Beauty And The Beast" by Dubstep artist BARE. The band's fourth studio album, New Demons was released October 22, 2013. New Demons is a step up from Digital Regenade, featuring elements of electronic dance music (EDM) while achieving an even further aggressive style than Digital Renegade. The band defines their style as "EHM" , or "electronic hardcore music". On January 29, 2015, I See Stars released the first of 8 remixed songs. The full album was released in March 2015, titled New Demons (Remixes).

I Killed the Prom Queen is an Australian metalcore band from Adelaide, formed in 2000. The band featured prominently on the Australian live music scene and toured the U.S., Japan and parts of Europe several times. They issued two studio albums, When Goodbye Means Forever... (2003) and Music for the Recently Deceased (2006) – the latter reached the top 30 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The group split up in April 2007 due to the inability to find a permanent vocalist. I Killed the Prom Queen reformed to play a farewell tour in mid-2008 and released a live album and DVD, Sleepless Nights and City Lights, which peaked in the top 50. In May 2011, the band reformed for the Destroy Music Tour with new vocalist Jamie Hope and spent the next two years working on a third studio album, which was released in early 2014.

Hundredth is an American melodic hardcore band from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, that formed in 2008.

The Human Abstract was an American progressive metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2004, the group was originally signed to the independent label Hopeless Records, the band then released the two albums Nocturne (2006) and Midheaven (2008) before signing to eOne Music and releasing Digital Veil (2011). The Human Abstract has gone through several lineup changes over the years, with the current consisting of founding members Dean Herrera, A.J. Minette and Brett Powell, in addition to Henry Selva and Travis Richter.

Horse the Band is an American band from Lake Forest, California who are best known for their 8-bit Nintendo-influenced sound combined with metalcore. Frontman Nathan Winneke once jokingly described their sound as "Nintendocore", although the band have gone to lengths reiterating that this merely describes the sound, not the substance.

Hopes Die Last is an Italian post-hardcore band from Rome, formed in 2004. Previously signed to StandBy Records, the band has self-released their latest EP. Their line-up currently consists of Daniele Tofani (lead vocals), Marco Mantovani (guitar/backing vocals) and Luigi Magliocca (guitar). To date, the band has released two studio albums and three EPs.

Hoods is a metalcore band from Sacramento, California. Formed in 1994 by Mike (Hood) Mraz who later added Logan Murray, Tony Goodloe and Billy Gaffney. Hoods shows influences such as Madball, Sick of It All, Minor Threat and Cro-Mags. They released their first EP entitled Once Again in 1996 and concentrated on live performances. After numerous fights between fans and an altercation between a couple of the band members and a police officer, the band was more or less forced out of the Sacramento area. The band concentrated efforts on the San Francisco Bay Area playing shows with groups such as Powerhouse, Redemption 87 and Skin Lab. In 1997 after a disagreement with bandmates and his mother's illness Gaffney left and was replaced by Jeremy. Murray and Goldoe then left and were replaced by Ben and Mario. Mike was the only original member left. The Hoods were dropped from Victory Records. They signed with Eulogy Recordings in 2005 and released The King Is Dead. The group released a new album, Ghetto Blaster, on April 24, 2007. The newest release Pit Beast dropped in late May 2009 after the band signed with I Scream Records. In 2014 the band signed with Artery Recordings and released "Gato Negro".

Heaven Shall Burn (sometimes abbreviated HSB) are a German extreme metal band from Saalfeld, formed in 1996. The band consists of vocalist Marcus Bischoff, guitarists Maik Weichert and Alexander Dietz, bassist Eric Bischoff and drummer Christian Bass. They are currently signed to Century Media. They have released seven studio albums, as well as a number of other records. Their latest album, Veto, entered the German Album Charts at #2 in 2013.

Heart in Hand were an English rock band from Bournemouth and Southampton, formed in 2008. Their musical style was a melodic blend of hardcore punk and heavy metal influences, described as both melodic hardcore and metalcore. The band's final lineup consisted of vocalist Charlie Holmes, guitarists Ed Hartwell and Ollie Wilson, bassist Gavin Thane and drummer Sam Brennan. Their first release was the Heart in Hand EP in 2009, followed by 3 studio albums, including their last record, A Beautiful White, released in November 2014. They have over 100,000 fans on Facebook and had released 5 music videos, with a combined view count of nearly 3 million, before 2014. They supported the 2013 release of their second studio album, Almost There, by touring with bands such as Bury Tomorrow, Deez Nuts, Miss May I, Stray from the Path and Texas in July, and had also appeared at numerous British festivals, including Download, Slam Dunk, 2000 Trees, Ghostfest and Redfest, as well as on the main stages of European festivals such as Rock for People in the Czech Republic or Resurrection Fest in Spain, and as headliners at a number of smaller festivals. They disbanded in February 2015.

Haste the Day is an American Christian metalcore band formed in Carmel, Indiana in 2001 and signed to Solid State Records. Their name is derived from a lyric in the hymn "It Is Well with My Soul" by Horatio Spafford. The band released an EP titled That They May Know You, in 2002, followed by five studio albums: Burning Bridges (2004), When Everything Falls (2005), Pressure the Hinges (2007), Dreamer (2008), and Attack of the Wolf King (2010). The group disbanded in March 2011 but reformed in 2014 and released Coward in 2015.

Greeley Estates is an American metalcore band from Maricopa County, Arizona. Formed in 2002, the band has released five full-length studio albums and three EPs. The group initially had an emo and post-hardcore sound, but with some line-up changes later they changed their sound, pursuing metalcore with their third studio album Go West Young Man, Let the Evil Go East (2008).

The Great Commission is an American Christian hardcore and Christian metal band, and they primarily play hardcore punk and metalcore, while to a lesser extent worship music. They come from Riverside, California. The band started making music in 2007. Their membership is Justin Singh, Angela Razo, Derek, Christian, Nelson, and Solomon. The band released an independently made extended play, The Great Commission, in 2008. They signed to Strike First Records, where they released, And Every Knee Shall Bow, a studio album, in 2009. Their subsequent studio album, Heavy Worship, was released by Ain't No Grave Records, in 2011. The latest recording, Firework, an extended play, was released by Ain't No Grave Recordings, in 2012.

Goodbye to Gravity was a short-lived Romanian metalcore band from Bucharest, active from 2011 until 2015, when four of the band's five members died as a consequence of a nightclub fire started by the band's pyrotechnics.

Glass Cloud is an American metalcore band from Hampton, Virginia formed by Jerry Roush, Joshua Travis, Travis Sykes, and Chad Hasty in late 2011. The band released their debut album, The Royal Thousand on July 10, 2012 via Equal Vision Records in the United States and Basick Records in the United Kingdom. Lead vocalist Roush was formerly the vocalist of Sky Eats Airplane and Of Mice & Men, while Joshua Travis was the guitarist for The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza until 2012. The band's newest album is entitled Perfect War Forever EP, and was released October 22, 2013 via Equal Vision Records.

Gideon is an American Christian heavy metal band hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who were established in 2008. The groups’ current label imprint is Facedown Records and former was Strike First Records. In 2011, the band came out with a studio album called Costs with Strike First. Their second studio album was issued in 2012, titled Milestone, under current imprinter Facedown.

The Ghost Inside, formerly known as A Dying Dream, is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of vocalist Jonathan Vigil, guitarist Zach Johnson, bassist Jim Riley and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. They have released one EP and four studio albums, with their latest, Dear Youth, released in November 2014 though Epitaph Records and peaking at number 63 on the American Billboard 200 chart.

Falling in Reverse is an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2008, signed to Epitaph Records. The band is led by lead singer Ronnie Radke along with lead guitarist Christian Thompson, rhythm guitarist Derek Jones, bassist Zakk Sandler and drummer Ryan Seaman. They released their debut album, The Drug In Me Is You, on July 26, 2011, which peaked at number 19 on the Billboard 200, selling 18,000 copies in its first week of sales. "Raised by Wolves", "The Drug in Me Is You", "I'm Not a Vampire", "Good Girls Bad Guys" and "Pick Up the Phone" were all released as singles to promote the album. Their second studio album, Fashionably Late, was released on June 18, 2013, which peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200. "Alone", "Fashionably Late", "Born to Lead", and "Bad Girls Club" were released as singles to promote the album. The band released three singles, "God, If You Are Above..." , "Guillotine IV (The Final Chapter)", and "Sexy Drug", in promotion of their third album Just Like You, which was released on February 24, 2015. However, on February 17, the full album stream was uploaded to fallinginreverse.com.

Eyes Set to Kill is an American post-hardcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Sisters Alexia Rodríguez (born 23 November 1987) and Anissa Rodríguez (born 27 January 1989), along with former vocalist Lindsey Vogt started the band in 2003. Lindsey Vogt departed the band in mid-2007 due to issues with management. Lindsey would go on to form a solo project known as "The Taro Sound", and eventually formed the band "The Attraction." After Lindsey's departure, Alexia assumed her position as lead vocalist as well as guitarist.

Every Time I Die is an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998. Their musical style is rooted in technical hardcore punk with strong Southern rock and mathcore elements, and is also characterised by their literary, bitingly sarcastic lyrics. They have also garnered critical and fan acclaim for their high energy, intense live shows. The band announced on July 14, 2008 that they had left Ferret Music and signed with Epitaph. Their seventh studio album, From Parts Unknown, was released on July 1, 2014.

Evergreen Terrace is a four-piece American melodic hardcore/metalcore band from Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 1999, they are named after the street inhabited by The Simpsons. The band's sixth and latest studio album Dead Horses was released on December 10, 2013 via Rise Records.

Escape the Fate is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2005 and originally from Pahrump, Nevada. They are signed to Eleven Seven Music. The group consists of Robert Ortiz (drummer), Craig Mabbitt (lead vocalist), TJ Bell (rhythm guitarist and vocalist), Kevin "Thrasher" Gruft (lead guitarist) and touring musician Max Georgiev (bassist). As of 2013, Ortiz is the last founding member in the current line up of the group.

Emmure /ɛˈmjuːr/ is an American metalcore band formed in 2003. Originally based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, but now residing in Queens, New York, the group has a total of seven releases. They have three demos entitled Dead People Ink Demo, Nine Eleven Zero Four and Demo 2005. They attracted the attention of This City Is Burning Records through which the band released their debut extended play The Complete Guide to Needlework.

Eighteen Visions was a rock band from Orange County, California, United States, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records.

The band is known for supporting animal rights, promoting a straight edge and vegan lifestyle, and addressing further social and political issues.

Drop Dead, Gorgeous was an American metalcore band from Denver, Colorado. It consisted of frontman Danny Stillman (lead vocals/guitars/keys), Kyle Browning (lead guitar/vocals/programming), Jake Hansen (bass) and Danny Cooper (drums/percussion). To date they have released three full-length albums, as well as an EP. Their 2009 album, The Hot N' Heavy, was charted by Billboard at No. 6 on the Top Heatseekers chart, No. 23 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 192 on The Billboard 200.

The Dillinger Escape Plan is an American mathcore band from Morris Plains, New Jersey currently signed to Sumerian Records. The group originated in 1997 after the disbanding of Arcane, a hardcore punk trio consisting of Ben Weinman, Dimitri Minakakis, and Chris Pennie. The band's current line-up consists of guitarists Ben Weinman and Kevin Antreassian, bassist Liam Wilson, vocalist Greg Puciato, and drummer Billy Rymer. Their band name is derived from bank robber John Dillinger.

Devil You Know is a metalcore supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2012. They currently are signed to Nuclear Blast Records and have released two albums; The Beauty of Destruction and They Bleed Red.

The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2005. It consists of members Mike Hranica (vocals), Jeremy DePoyster (rhythm guitar, vocals), Andy Trick (bass), and Daniel Williams (drums). The band had maintained its original lineup until keyboardist James Baney left the band. To date, the group has released five full-length albums: Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord (2006), Plagues (2007), With Roots Above and Branches Below (2009), Dead Throne (2011) and 8:18 (2013) as well as two EPs, one DVD, fourteen singles, and ten music videos.

Devil Sold His Soul are an ambient influenced metalcore band from London, formed in 2004 and signed to Basick Records. Three members of the band are formerly of Mahumodo. They released their debut full-length album A Fragile Hope on 18 June 2007, after with the release of their debut EP Darkness Prevails, produced by Mark Williams. The band has finished recording its second full-length album, Blessed & Cursed (mixed by Steve Evetts) which was released on 18 June 2010. On 8 August 2010 they played at the Hevy Music Festival held near Folkestone, Kent, before embarking on a UK tour with metal group Architects. In January 2011, the band announced that bassist Iain Trotter has left the band to pursue a career outside of music. He has been replaced by Jozef Norocky, former guitarist of Rinoa. Mid-March 2013, Ed Gibbs announced that he would be leaving the band to also pursue a career outside of the band after the upcoming music festivals were over. In April, Paul Green, one of the two vocalists of The Arusha Accord, was recruited as their new singer.

Destroy the Runner was an American Christian metal band from San Diego, California, United States. Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying managed them for their album Saints, and did so again with Jason Rudolph for their second album I, Lucifer.

Demon Hunter is an American Christian metal band from Seattle, Washington, started in 2000 by brothers Don Clark and Ryan Clark. Although the brothers created the band, only one remains, since Don Clark has left the band to take care of his family. As of early 2010, the band has sold over half a million albums. The band's style is known for combining nu metal sounds and qualities with ones heard in metalcore.

Deez Nuts is an Australian hardcore punk band that formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2007, currently comprising vocalist JJ Peters, guitarist Matt Rogers, bassist Sean Kennedy and drummer Alex Salinger. The band has released one EP and four studio albums.

The Dead Rabbitts are an American metalcore supergroup from Phoenix, Arizona. The band is a side project of Escape the Fate's lead vocalist, Craig Mabbitt. The Dead Rabbitt's debut EP, Edge of Reality, was released on October 19, 2012 for people who purchased the album through PledgeMusic, and October 30, 2012 in the iTunes store. The band's debut album, Shapeshifter, was released on July 1, 2014.

Dead by April is a Swedish melodic metalcore band from Gothenburg, formed in February 2007 by Pontus Hjelm and Jimmie Strimell . The current band lineup consists of Hjelm (vocals/guitar/keys), Christoffer "Stoffe" Andersson (screamed vocals), Marcus Wesslén (bass) and Marcus Rosell (drums). They released their self-titled debut album in May 2009. Despite many line up changes throughout their career, both bassist Marcus Wesslén and lead guitarist/current clean vocalist Pontus Hjelm have remained consistent since their debut album.

A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR) is an American metalcore band from Ocala, Florida, founded in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their unusual amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard, percussion and drummer Alex Shelnutt and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff.

Darkness Divided is an American Christian metalcore band from San Antonio, Texas. "Combining elements from traditional metal bands and modern-day metalcore acts, the band offers an original and exciting sound in a rapidly flourishing metal scene. With over 150 shows under their belts, Darkness Divided has developed an intense, high-energy live performance that has intrigued fans from clubs to festival stages across the United States, and has shared the stage with bands such as Haste the Day, Underoath, and For Today." Darkest Hour is an American metalcore band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1995. Though failing to break early in their career, the band has received acclaim for their albums Undoing Ruin, Deliver Us, and The Eternal Return. Deliver Us debuted at number 110 on the Billboard album charts, with sales of 6,600, and their more recent effort The Eternal Return garnered them an even higher position in the Billboard album charts at number 104. Their latest self-titled effort charted at 102 on the Billboard 200, a peak for the band, and it marked a stylistic shift in the band's discography.

Crystal Lake is a Japanese metalcore band from Tokyo, formed in 2002.

Crown The Empire is an American post-hardcore/metalcore band formed in 2010 in Dallas, Texas. They have released one EP and two full-length albums, and have toured extensively.

Crossfaith (クロスフェイス) are a Japanese metalcore band from Osaka that was formed in 2006. The band released their first demo "Blueprint of Reconstruction" in 2008. The band consists of vocalist Kenta Koie, guitarist Kazuki Takemura, Hiroki Ikegawa on bass guitar, drummer Tatsuya Amano and Terufumi Tamano on keyboards. They are renowned for their fusion of metalcore with electronic dance music, and for their intense live performances.

The Crimson Armada was an American metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio. The band initially formed in Westerville, Ohio in 2007, but after several live shows and demos the band went on hiatus. After pressure from the local music scene, the group reformed a year later. According to Allmusic, the band has found itself "on a meteoric rise through the extreme metal world." The band's lyrics contain spiritual themes and the band has members who are Christian. However, the band's songwriter and lead vocalist Saud Ahmed has stated that the band is not Christian, as the band has never written a song about Jesus.

Counterparts are a Canadian melodic hardcore band formed in 2007 in Hamilton, Ontario. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Brendan "B" Murphy, guitarists Jesse Doreen and Adrian Lee, bassist Brian Kaczmarczyk and drummer Kelly Bilan. The band's two most recent albums, released through Victory Records, have received critical acclaim from Rock Sound and Exclaim! magazines.

Converge is an American mathcore band from Salem, Massachusetts. Formed in 1990, the group comprises vocalist Jacob Bannon, guitarist Kurt Ballou, bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller. Their music blends hardcore punk and heavy metal. According to Allmusic, Converge are "regarded as one of the most original and innovative bands to emerge from the punk underground".

Confide was an American metalcore band from Anaheim, California, formed in 2004. They have released two EPs and three full-length albums. Although all the members of the group are openly Christian, they have not been marketed in the Christian market since the band is on a secular label.

Confession was an Australian melodic hardcore band from Melbourne, Victoria. The band was formed in 2008 by frontman Michael Crafter, who is best known as the former lead vocalist of metalcore bands I Killed the Prom Queen, Carpathian and Bury Your Dead. They have released one EP entitled Can't Live, Can't Breathe, and three albums: Cancer, The Long Way Home and "Life And Death" on Resist Records.

Come The Dawn is a Metal/Rock band originating from Cincinnati, Ohio. They formed their band on May 24, 2012.

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! (also known by the acronym C!NCC!) are a French rock band formed in 2007 in Paris. The band consists of vocalist Bertrand Poncet, guitarists Éric Poncet and Paul Wilson and bassist Mathias Rigal, with founding drummer Jonathan Donnaes leaving in 2014 to be replaced by Bastien Lafaye. The band has released three studio albums: Something for Nothing in 2010, Pardon My French in 2013, and Get Lost, Find Yourself in 2015.

Chimaira /kaɪˈmɪərə/ was an American heavy metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in 1998, the group was a notable member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal scene. The band's name is derived from the word Chimera, a monstrous creature in Greek mythology. Throughout its history, the band endured numerous line-up changes, leaving vocalist Mark Hunter as the only constant member. The band dissolved in 2014.

The Chariot was an American mathcore band from Douglasville, Georgia, that existed from 2003 to 2013. The last lineup consisted of drummer David Kennedy, vocalist and bandleader Josh Scogin, and guitarists Brandon Henderson and Stephen Harrison. The band experienced frequent lineup changes since its inception, with Scogin being the only original member. The band played an abrasive style of hardcore that does not adhere to typical stylings such as melodic/abrasive dynamics and harmonic vocals. They built a reputation around their powerful live performances, with Scogin's lyrics covering topics like materialism, personal struggle, current events, politics, and Christian themes. Their music was critically acclaimed as something "that will melt your face and leave you wanting more."

Cave In is an American rock band that formed in 1995, in Methuen, Massachusetts. After several members changes in the late 1990s, their lineup solidified with the 1998 release of Until Your Heart Stops through Hydra Head Records. Their early albums were prominent in the metalcore scene. After this release, the band started experimenting with other genres. Cave In later received mainstream recognition for their 2003 RCA Records album Antenna and its lead single "Anchor," which had an overall alternative rock style. The group went on hiatus in 2006 and later reformed in 2009 with the release of a new EP, Planets of Old, as well as a new LP in 2011, titled White Silence. Both of these post-hiatus releases saw a return to Cave In's earlier and heavier sound.

Capture the Crown are an Australian metalcore band formed in early 2010 after the break-up of another metalcore outfit, Atlanta Takes State. The band rose to prominence when they released the music video for their song, "You Call That a Knife, This Is a Knife!" (2011) on YouTube. The band was signed to Sumerian Records in December 2012 but were dropped in October the following year. Since their formation they have issued two studio albums, 'Til Death (18 December 2012), which appeared on three Billboard component charts Top Hard Rock (No. 21), Top Heatseekers (No. 7), and Top Independent Albums (No. 25), and Reign of Terror (5 August 2014), which charted at #86 on the U.S. Billboard 200. In August 2013 the group announced the proposed release of an extended play, Live Life, which was released on 4 February 2014. Later in 2014, they announced that they had signed with Artery Recordings.

Candiria are an American band from Brooklyn, New York. They blend various styles of music, including metal, hardcore, hip hop, Jazz and ambient. Candiria have often dubbed their sound "urban fusion".

Cancer Bats are a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario. They have released five studio albums and six extended plays. The band is composed of vocalist Liam Cormier, guitarist Scott Middleton, drummer Mike Peters and bassist Jaye R. Schwarzer. Cancer Bats take a wide variety of influences from heavy metal subgenres and fuse them into hardcore and punk rock, and also include elements of Southern rock. Their sound has thus been likened to sludge metal, as well as to that of metalcore bands such as Converge and Hatebreed. The members of Cancer Bats have also toured and recorded as a Black Sabbath cover band under the name Bat Sabbath.

Caliban are a five-piece metalcore band from Germany. They have released nine studio albums to-date, and two split albums with the melodic death metal/metalcore band Heaven Shall Burn.

Bury Your Dead is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States, formed in 2001. To date they have had eight releases; one EP: Bury Your Dead, one live DVD: Alive, and six studio albums: You Had Me at Hello, Cover Your Tracks, Beauty and the Breakdown, Bury Your Dead, It's Nothing Personal and Mosh N' Roll.

Bury Tomorrow are a five piece British melodic metalcore band formed in 2006 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. The band is composed of lead vocalist Dani Winter-Bates, rhythm guitarist and singer Jason Cameron, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates, drummer Adam Jackson and lead guitarist Kristan Dawson, who replaced founding guitarist Mehdi Vismara in 2013. Bury Tomorrow have released three studio albums and are to release a fourth, titled Earthbound, on 29 January 2016.

Buried In Verona is an Australian metalcore band from Sydney, New South Wales, formed in 2007. They have released five full-length albums, the most recent being Vultures Above, Lions Below, released in August 2015.

Burden of a Day was an American post-hardcore band, from Sarasota, Florida, United States, formed in January 2000. They were formally signed to Rise Records before their breakup. Some of their influences include the likes of Thrice, The Bled, All That Remains. They recently had their last show in Sarasota on March 6. Burden of a Day started as a worship band in church, until they were moved to reach out to people with their music.

Bullet for My Valentine are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is composed of Matthew Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar, backing vocals), Michael Thomas (drums) and Jamie Mathias (bass guitar). Former members include Nick Crandle and Jason James; both were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. Financial difficulties dictated the name change, which was followed by a change in music direction. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Slayer. The band is part of the Cardiff music scene.

The Browning is an American electronicore band from Kansas City, Missouri, United States. The Browning is best known for their unique blend of EDM and metalcore.

Bring Me the Horizon are a British rock band from Sheffield, Yorkshire. Formed in 2003, the group currently consists of lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, lead guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the US. The style of their early work, including their debut album Count Your Blessings, has primarily been described as deathcore, but they started to adopt a more eclectic style of metalcore on subsequent albums. Furthermore, their latest album That's the Spirit, marked a shift in their sound to less aggressive rock music styles.

Botch was an American mathcore band that formed in 1993 in Tacoma, Washington. The band, featuring Brian Cook, Dave Knudson, Tim Latona and Dave Verellen, spent four years as a garage band and released several demos and EPs before signing to Hydra Head Records. Through the label, Botch released two studio albums: American Nervoso (1998) and We Are the Romans (1999). The group toured extensively and internationally in support of their albums with liked-minded bands such as The Blood Brothers, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Ink & Dagger and Jesuit. Botch struggled to write a third studio album, and in 2002 the group broke up due to tensions among the band members and creative differences. Hydra Head posthumously released an EP of songs the group had been working on before they split titled An Anthology of Dead Ends, and a live album documenting their final show titled 061502 in 2006.

Blind Witness is a Canadian metalcore band from Granby, Quebec. Formed in 2005, the group was formerly signed to Mediaskare Records and released two full-length studio albums. The band broke up in 2012, but reformed in 2014.

Blessthefall (stylized as blessthefall) is an American metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, signed to Fearless Records. The band was founded in 2003 by guitarist Mike Frisby, drummer Matt Traynor, and bassist Jared Warth. Their debut album, His Last Walk, with original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, was released April 10, 2007. Their second studio album, Witness, with current vocalist Beau Bokan, was released October 6, 2009. Their third studio album, Awakening, was released on October 4, 2011. Their fourth studio album, Hollow Bodies, was released on August 20, 2013. To Those Left Behind is the band's fifth full-length album, released on September 18, 2015.

Bleeding Through was an American metalcore band from Orange County, California. Formed in 1999, the band blended influences stemming from modern hardcore punk, symphonic black metal, and melodic death metal. Although the band was often labeled as simply metalcore, when Brandan Schieppati was asked if he considered Bleeding Through a hardcore band, he said: "I think we're a hardcore band and I'll never say we are a metal band, we're all hardcore kids and we came from the hardcore scene. Ours is just a different version of hardcore, we're trying to do something which adds a different variety to the hardcore scene, which has been sounding the same way for so long."

Bleed from Within are a Scottish heavy metal band from Glasgow. The band formed in 2005 and currently consists of vocalist Scott Kennedy, drummer Ali Richardson, bassist Davie Provan and guitarists Craig Gowans and Martyn Evans. The band has released three studio albums; Humanity, Empire and Uprising. The most recent, Uprising was released on Century Media and reached number 13 on the UK Rock Chart.

The Bled was an American mathcore band from Tucson, Arizona formed in 2001. They released four albums, Pass the Flask, Found In The Flood, Silent Treatment, and Heat Fetish before disbanding in 2011.

Black Veil Brides are an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The group formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is currently composed of Andy Biersack (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Jinxx (rhythm guitar, violin) and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). Black Veil Brides are known for their use of black makeup, body paint, tight black studded clothing, and long hair, which were all inspired by Kiss' and Mötley Crüe's stage persona, as well as other 1980s glam metal acts.

Between the Buried and Me is an American progressive metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina. They have released a total of seven studio albums, as well as an EP, a cover album, and two live DVD/CDs. Their first album was released through Life Force records, and after that the majority of the group's releases were made through Victory Records. They shifted to Metal Blade in 2011, and released their first EP, The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues, through the label on April 12, 2011. Their seventh studio album, Coma Ecliptic, was released on July 10, 2015.

Beneath the Sky was an American metalcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio. The band originally formed in 2004 and finally disbanded in 2014, having released 3 studio albums through Victory Records

Beartooth are an American metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio. They are signed to Red Bull Records and managed by The Artery Foundation since 2013 along with frontman Caleb Shomo's electronic act, Class. Their debut EP Sick was released on July 26, 2013, followed by their debut full-length album Disgusting on June 10, 2014.

AxeWound is a British-Canadian supergroup formed in 2012 comprising Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats on lead vocals, Matthew Tuck of Bullet for My Valentine on guitar and backing vocals, Mike Kingswood formerly of Glamour of the Kill on guitar, Joe Copcutt of Zoax and formerly of Rise to Remain playing bass and Jason Bowld of Pitchshifter on drums.

Avenged Sevenfold (sometimes abbreviated as A7X) is an American heavy metal band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Synyster Gates, bass guitarist Johnny Christ and drummer Brooks Wackerman.

August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Manheim, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2003, the group began their first performances while a majority of the members were attending their senior year of high school, and soon began playing shows around Lancaster, before being signed to CI Records. Afterwards, they were signed to Solid State Records, and most recently to Fearless Records. Prominent features of their music include heavy breakdowns and odd-meter riffs as well as often lyrics covering topics such as depression, social tolerance, and grief at the death of a loved one. The group's latest album, Found in Far Away Places, was released on June 29, 2015. On December 7, 2015 the single Identity was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category.

Attila is an American metalcore and deathcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, that was formed in 2005. Frontman Chris Fronzak started the band in high school and, not wanting to use typical death metal terms, adopted the name from Attila the Hun, which he came across in a book. Though their original formation was in 2005, the band did not start touring full-time until around 2010. They have released six full-length albums. Their most successful album About That Life was produced by Joey Sturgis, released on June 25, 2013 and debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at #22. Attila has toured across the United States with bands such as Hed PE, Arsonists Get All the Girls, See You Next Tuesday, Emmure, Chelsea Grin, Oceano, Falling in Reverse, and Metro Station. The band is currently signed to Artery Recordings, a label imprint of the Razor & Tie company.

Attack Attack! was an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, United States, formed in 2007 originally as Ambiance, later changing their name. Attack Attack!'s first release, an independent EP titled If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?, was released in 2008, which led to the signing of the band to Rise Records the same year. They released three full-length albums, Someday Came Suddenly, a self-titled album, and This Means War all through Rise Records. The band left Rise Records in 2012 and disbanded a year later after a farewell tour.

Atreyu is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California formed in 1998. The band consists of vocalist Alex Varkatzas, lead guitarist Dan Jacobs, rhythm guitarist Travis Miguel, bassist Marc McKnight and drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller.

Asking Alexandria are an English metalcore band from York, North Yorkshire formed initially in 2008 by lead guitarist Ben Bruce along with former lead singer Danny Worsnop, bassist Joe Lancaster, keyboardist and synth player Ryan Binns, and current members drummer James Cassells and rhythm guitarist Cameron Liddell. Lancaster and Binns later departed from the band in 2009 with Lancaster joining heavy metal band With One Last Breath. Bassist Sam Bettley joined the band that same year, and in January 2015 Worsnop departed to focus on his new band We Are Harlot and was later replaced by Denis Stoff. The band has released three studio albums and are currently in production of a fourth.

As I Lay Dying is an American metalcore band from San Diego, California. Founded in 2000 by vocalist Tim Lambesis, the establishment of the band's first full lineup, which included drummer Jordan Mancino, occurred in 2001. As I Lay Dying has released six albums, one split album, and two compilation albums.

Architects are a British metalcore band from Brighton, England. The band currently consists of vocalist Sam Carter, guitarist and keyboardist Tom Searle and his twin brother, drummer Dan Searle, as well as bassist Alex Dean and guitarist Adam Christianson. The band's first name was Inharmonic, which was swiftly changed to Counting the Days, and finally to Architects after a couple of years. They have released six studio albums and one split EP with Dead Swans to date.

The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore/metalcore band from Gympie, formed in 2003. The band's current line-up consists of Ahren Stringer (clean vocals, bass guitar), Joel Birch (unclean vocals), Ryan Burt (drums, percussion) and Dan Brown (guitar). The Amity Affliction have released four studio albums including Severed Ties (2008), Youngbloods (2010) which debuted at number 6 on the ARIA Charts, Chasing Ghosts (2012) which debuted at number 1 on the ARIA charts. On 6 June 2014, they released their fourth studio album Let The Ocean Take Me for their second number 1 ARIA album debut, preceded by ARIA top 40 singles "Pittsburgh" and "Don't Lean On Me".

American Standards is an American hardcore punk band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2011. The band consists of members Brandon Kellum (vocals), Corey Skowronski (lead guitar), Steven Mandell (bass), and Tommy Mills (drums). Their musical style is rooted in technical hardcore with strong elements of punk and metal. They've garnered much critical and fan acclaim for their high energy, intense live shows and raw sound. They're also known for Kellum's socio politically charged lyrics which have included topics such corporate satire, materialism, personal struggle and urban alienation. To date, the group has released four albums, five music videos and multiple demos.

American Me was a hardcore punk band from Portland, Oregon whose music also featured elements of various genres of heavy metal and hip hop. The band was formed in 2006 and signed with Rise Records in late 2007. The band's music is often described as 'brutal hardcore' and is known for its fast pace and heavy sound.

All That Remains is an American heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1998. They have released seven studio albums, a live CD/DVD, and have sold over a million records worldwide. The group consists of vocalist Philip Labonte, guitarists Oli Herbert and Mike Martin, bassist Aaron Patrick and former Diecast drummer Jason Costa, with Labonte and Herbert being the only two original members. In spite of this, the band's line-up had remained consistent from the release of 2008's Overcome until 2015's The Order of Things, spanning four albums. This line-up changed, however, in September 2015, when long-time bassist Jeanne Sagan left the band, with Patrick taking her place.

Alesana (/ˈælɨs ˈænə/ A-lis A-na) is an American rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina. Formed in 2004, the group is currently signed to Revival Recordings and Artery Recordings and have released two EPs and five full-length studio albums. The band gained a wide audience after their debut, On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax was released, featuring a musical style shifting between light and heavy sounds along with a wide influence ranging to even classic rock bands such as The Beatles. Their band name is derived from street named Aliceanna St., which is located in Baltimore where the group originated.

The Agonist is a Canadian extreme metal band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2004. The current line up consists of guitarists Danny Marino and Pascal (Paco) Jobin, bassist Chris Kells, drummer Simon Mckay, and vocalist Vicky Psarakis, who joined in March 2014 following the departure of vocalist and founding member Alissa White-Gluz. Both Psarakis and White-Gluz use growled and clean vocals. Originally known as The Tempest, the band adopted their current moniker upon their signing to Century Media in 2007. To date, The Agonist has released four studio albums; the latest, Eye of Providence, was released in February 2015. Touring extensively since their first album, they have shared the stage with bands such as Arsonists Get All the Girls, Epica, The Faceless, Chelsea Grin, Kamelot, Visions of Atlantis, and many more.

After the Burial is an American extreme metal band from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The group is currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released three of their four full-length albums through the label. Since their inception in 2004, the band has experienced two vocalist changes, two drummer changes, and the departure and death of founding rhythm guitarist Justin Lowe. Lead guitarist Trent Hafdahl and bassist Lerichard Foral are the group's two remaining founding members.

Affiance is an American metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 2007. They released one EP prior to their debut album No Secret Revealed, which was released on label Bullet Tooth Records in December 2010. Vocalist Dennis Tvrdik sings of political and religious issues, often pushing his voice to surprisingly high ranges. He explains the band's nature: "We are a band that strongly believes in the pursuit of truth and happiness. In order to achieve these ideals we must delve into concepts and that we often don't want to think about. We hope that through our music we can inspire people to think for themselves and be pro-active in society."

Advent was an American Christian Hardcore band from Kernersville, North Carolina. The band featured members of an earlier post-hardcore band named Beloved, and was considered a pseudo-continuation of that band. The band had released two albums under the label Solid State Records. The band announced in July 2011 that they had disbanded, and held two final shows on September 2 and 3 in South Carolina and North Carolina, respectively.

Adept is a Swedish metalcore band from Trosa. Founded in 2004, the band consists of Robert Ljung (Vocals), Jerry Repo (guitars) Filip Brandelius (bass), Gabriel Hellmark (drums) and Gustav Lithammer (guitars). They've released 3 EP's as well as 3 studio albums to date, including Another Year of Disaster in 2009, Death Dealers (which saw a shift in sound from their original post-hardcore influences) in 2011 and their latest, Silence the World, in 2013. In November 2014, they announced that their next album will be released in 2015. In November 2015, they signed to Napalm Records.

The Acacia Strain are an American metalcore band from Chicopee, Massachusetts formed in 2001. The band has gone through several lineup changes and vocalist Vincent Bennett is the only current original member. The Acacia Strain is currently signed to Rise Records.
