Mastiff

Mastiff is not a single breed but rather a category for large dogs sharing the characteristics of heavy bone structure, wide heads, and short muzzles. Also known as Molossers, all mastiff breeds share a common ancient lineage to the dogs of Molossia in ancient Epirus (near modern Greece). Popular mastiff breeds include the Bullmastiff, Dogo Argentino, English Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff and Tibetan Mastiff.
