The American Eskimo dog is a medium-sized spitz breed with a thick solid white coat. They have narrow fox-like faces with triangular ears and tightly curled tails. They gained popularity in the 1930s and 40s due to their use in the circus, and are today available in toy, miniature and standard sizes.
